Can I reschedule my stay?

Yes, with our various cancellation protections, you have great flexibility regarding rebooking and cancellation. You choose what suits you best. Read more about our booking terms under "About Daftö".

Can I charge my electric car at Daftö?

Yes, you can! We have 34 charging stations for electric cars next to the conference building. These are paid through the Easypark app, and the area code is 71700. The price per kWh is 5 SEK + 15 SEK per hour for parking. The charging station can deliver a maximum of 22 kWh per hour depending on how many cars are charging simultaneously.

Do I need to bring bedding?

You can, but you don't have to. You can choose to rent bedding and spend your time on more enjoyable things than washing sheets when you get home.

Is there Wi-Fi on the premises?

Yes, absolutely, you can connect to our network whether you are at Daftöland, by the pool, or in the cabin. Wi-Fi is free for guests staying with us, and the password is "pirat1234".

How far is it to Strömstad?

It is 5 km to Strömstad and takes approximately just under 10 minutes by car and about 20 minutes by bike. You can rent a bike at the reception for 180 SEK per day, and a helmet is included in the price.

When can I check in and when do I need to check out?

You can check in to the cabins and the hotel from 15:00 and to the camping sites from 13:00. Check-out is at 11:00 (if you have ordered final cleaning, check-out is at 10:00). If you are a seasonal guest with us, you can come and go as you please between the dates you have rented.

Is there kitchen equipment in the cabins?

All cabins with a kitchen have crockery, glasses, and cutlery for at least the number of people who can sleep in the cabin. In addition to that, there are pots and other necessities for cooking for hungry stomachs.

Are there blankets and pillows in the cabins?

Blankets and pillows are provided for all beds in the cabins. You bring your own bed linen or you can purchase it when you book your accommodation.

Can I barbecue on the premises?

You are allowed to barbecue on the premises, but only in designated barbecue areas; open fires on the ground are not allowed. There are special bins for ash near the waste stations where the barbecue charcoal should be emptied. If you don't have a grill with you, you can add the Barbecue Package.

Is it allowed to bring dogs to the beach and Daftöland?

Both you and your dog are warmly welcome to Daftö. Keep your dog on a leash and walk it outside the camping area. Use dog waste bags. Pets are not allowed on the bathing beach in Daftöland, in the pool area, or in communal areas. There are dog showers in buildings 2 and 6 and a dedicated bathing area beyond the jetty sauna.

Can I use public transport between Strömstad and Daftö?

Yes, you can! You can find current times on the Västtrafik website or in the app, and the journey takes between 7-11 minutes.

What parking facilities are available?

There are parking spaces at each cabin, and if you are staying on a camping site, you can park one car per rented camping site. There are also fee-charging parking spaces at the reception and next to Daftöland. There are charging stations for electric cars next to the conference building. Electric cars must not be charged anywhere other than these charging stations.
