Can I rebook my stay?
Yes, with our various cancellation protections you have great freedom of choice regarding rebooking and cancellation. You choose what suits you best. Read more about our booking conditions under "About Daftö".
Do I have to bring bed linen?
You can, but you don't have to. You can choose to rent bed linen and instead spend your time on more enjoyable things than washing the sheets when you get home.
Is there wifi in the area?
Yes absolutely, you can connect to our network regardless of whether you are on Daftöland, by the pool or in the cabin. Wifi is free for you who live with us and the password is "pirate1234".
How far is it to Strömstad?
It is 5 km to Strömstad and takes about 10 minutes by car and about 20 minutes by bike. You can rent a bicycle at the reception for SEK 180 per day, of course a helmet is included in the price.
When can I check in and when do I need to check out?
You can check into the cabins from 3:00 p.m. Check-out is at 11:00, if you have not booked for final cleaning, then you need to check out at: 10:00.
Is there kitchen equipment in the cottages?
All cabins with a kitchen have crockery, glasses and cutlery for the minimum number of people who can sleep in the cabin. In addition, there are pans and other essentials for cooking for hungry stomachs.

Renting a cabin at Daftö Resort in Strömstad is so much more than a roof over your head and beds to sleep in. Adventurous family memories are created here that you can look back on for a long time to come. Cottages are available in varying sizes and in different price ranges and you can stay here throughout the year. From Easter through the autumn holidays, a large range of activities is included with and without Daftöpirater. You will find these activities in the calendar. In addition, there are a variety of outdoor activities to experience and during early summer weekends and high summer, the amusement park Daftöland is open. Which cabin best suits your wishes?
Cottages in different sizes and designs
Of course, we are a bit biased when we say that Strömstad is one of Sweden's best destinations. Daftö is right by the sea, and here you can live comfortably and beautifully. Nothing is boring here - especially not when the Daftöland amusement park is right next to the cottage area.
There are a number of different types of cabins on Daftö. Everything from smaller cottages for small groups to larger buildings for the whole family and your friends.
In Piratbyn, for example, you can stay in a pirate-decorated cabin with room for six people - with a view of the Daftöland amusement park.
Kaptensbyn contains the largest cabins on Daftö. These camping cabins on the West Coast are exclusive with a modern appearance. There are a total of eight beds in two bedrooms and a sleeping loft. All cabins in Kaptensbyn were renovated in 2017 - which means they contain all the amenities you can imagine.
For the adventurous visitor who wants to stay in a cabin on the West Coast, there is Döskallebyn with two to four beds. What sets this cabin village apart is that you live above ground in huts.

Renting a camping cabin has become an obvious summer activity for many. And really – what is more beautiful than a wonderfully bright day on a warm cliff in Bohuslän?
