The entrance is wide and the ground inside the park has an easily navigable surface. The terrain is somewhat hilly, but there are alternative paths that make it easy for carts and wheelchairs to get around. Most attractions and restaurants have ramps or are on ground level. In the attractions that do not have ramps, the staff will assist with whatever is necessary to ensure that everyone can enjoy a ride.
If you or someone in your party has an illness or disability that requires an accompanying person, your companion gets free admission. At the entrance, the companion will receive a wristband to show. If several adults take turns being the companion, each gets a wristband, but only one of them is admitted for free. To facilitate the visit, it is helpful if the companion or the person with the disability can present a certificate showing the diagnosis or disability. With the wristband, you can enter through the exit to the attractions if the child has difficulty standing in line or needs extra support.
Usually, we do not allow dogs or other pets to accompany guests into the amusement park, but if you require a service dog, they are of course permitted to join if they are working. Other animals should stay at home during the park visit. Strollers and wagons are also allowed in the park.
At the main stage where the Pirate Theater is performed, there is space for wheelchairs at the top. These spaces do not need to be pre-booked and entrance to the theater is included in the ticket price.
There is a space at the entrance to the theater where, when the theater is not in session, no people are around and one can find some peace and quiet. It is easy to leave the amusement park, go home and rest for a while, and then come back if one wishes. Around Daftöland and Daftö Resort, there are also good opportunities to take a break in the Bohuslän nature. By taking a walk along the beautiful hiking trails along cliffs, beach, and forest with benches and lookout spots to stop at along the way.
In the amusement park, there are several different food and snack places. Unfortunately, the restaurants do not have ramps at the cash registers, which makes it difficult to access some of them with a wheelchair. We are aware of this shortcoming and are doing everything we can to provide extra help and service until ramps are available. It is also permitted to bring your own food into the park and eat it at one of the many picnic tables with benches.
