Accommodation
At Daftö, during the winter season, you can stay in a cottage or rent a camping pitch for your own caravan or motorhome. If you stay on a camping pitch, you have free access to the service house with its facilities; some even have a sauna. Did you know that you can also rent a seasonal spot even during the winter?
Wood-fired sauna and winter bathing
At the resort, there is, among other things, a wood-fired pier sauna with a small pantry and changing rooms. A perfect place to enjoy with family, friends, or colleagues. During the winter, the pier sauna is also a perfect spot for winter bathing.
Wellness & spa
Treat yourself to a relaxing moment in our beautiful wellness area. Warmth, water, and massage create the perfect setting for relaxation. What makes it extra luxurious is that you and your group have the entire area to yourselves – the wellness space accommodates 10–12 people. You book the wellness area for 2 hours, and the price is 1,450 SEK.
Hiking trails
At Daftö, there are several hiking trails of various lengths and terrains. You can hike through forests, along the coastline, or over cliffs. Additionally, there are several well-known trails just a short walk from the resort, such as the Bohus Trail and the Coastal Path
Outdoor gym
Past the Activity Plan and towards the hiking trails, you’ll find the outdoor gym at Daftö. Here, you’ll find stations to work out your entire body. Combine strength training with cardio by taking a run on the hiking trails, available in various lengths, all leading back to the outdoor gym. Of course, using the outdoor gym is free of charge – the more, the merrier for a healthier holiday.
MTB-cycling
For those bringing their bikes to Daftö, there are both mountain biking trails and flow tracks to experience. Test your skills on trails of varying difficulty levels and enjoy a thrilling adventure on two wheels.
Activities in and around Strömstad
Strömstad is the seaside town with a perfect blend of energy and charm all year round. Visit one of the cozy cafés or explore and shop in Strömstad’s unique stores. If you head a bit further north, you’ll find Nordby Shopping Center, a true candy paradise for sweet-toothed kids and adults alike, home to one of the world’s largest candy stores. Besides sweets, you’ll find everything you can imagine across an impressive 80,000 square meters and approximately 110 shops. Challenge your family or friends with games and bowling at Strömstad Foodcourt. Enjoy Hyperbowling, Shuffleboard, and much more. The food court is located in Strömstad Shopping Center, featuring state-of-the-art bowling lanes, games, and cuisine from all over the world.

During the period when Daftö's own shops and restaurants are closed, we recommend exploring the offerings in the town center. You can find information about them through the link below. If you prefer to buy groceries and cook in your cottage, there is an ICA Kvantum not far from us. Head towards the town center and straight ahead at the first roundabout to get there.
