Boule
Challenge your friends or family in boules. Put together your team and compete to see who can be the first to reach 13 points.
Boules is one of our newest activities at the resort. You can find the boules court next to the paddle courts up on the Höglandet. Below, we'll tell you about the rules of the game and how teams are formed.
RULES OF THE GAME AND TEAM FORMATION
Game rules
Boule involves throwing balls to get as close to the small ball as possible. Start by throwing out the 'little one,' which should land somewhere between 6-10 meters away. After that, each team throws their balls.
The team farthest from the 'little one' continues to throw their balls until they have one closest. Then it's the other team's turn to throw.
When all balls have been thrown, the team with its ball closest to the small ball earns one point for each ball closer than the opposing team's best ball.
Only one team scores points in each round. The winners have the honor of throwing the small ball in the next round. The goal is to be the first team to reach 13 points to win the game.
